VTK installation (libvtk5-dev )

Hello Everyone

This doubt is related to VTK installation. I already had installed VTK 7.1 on my machine.
but someone I am getting unmet dependencies error while updating the VTK.
Need your valuable response/comment

Hello, thanks for using the forum, you are the first :)

Some questions :
 - are you using an Ubuntu 16.04 LTS distribution ?
 - what is your GNU/LInux distribution and version ?
 - why did you try to install  libvtk5-dev ? You need libvtk6-dev

I suppose that you have a collision between multiple version of vtk on your system.
